Hi,
Just wanted to ask what type of profession or career would you associate with the Temperance card?
Thanks a lot.

Doctor, nurse, healer, psychologist, therapist, chemist, perfumer, aromatherapist, herbalist, mediator, freelance editor (as opposed to a publishing house or publication editor, who is more Queen of Swords).

hmm a healer seems most likely. I think it depends on the nature of the artist wether he/she is more a fool, magician or in this case temperance.
I can also see it as a person who is juggling two careers, maybe even medicine AND arts ( like myself.... :))

Thanks everyone!
Hmmm....it's really ineteresting, the reason I asked is because I wanted to know what type of profession the cards would suggest me as I can't see myself doing my current one for the rest of my life, and I pulled the Temperance card...well, I can't see myself in any of these professions yet but who knows, life can be very suprising...
Thanks again :)

Hello ,
We just discussed this card in Tarot class and we thought she would be a wonderful holistic/natural healer.
Good luck on your career journey :).

I have seen it in many a reading representing a healer :)

This may be very literal, but I could also see Temperance as a chef.

Is that because you have the Gay Tarot?

TemperanceAngel: No, I don't own the Gay Tarot. Is Temperance pictured as a chef in that deck?

YES!!! How interesting :) If you go to Study Groups: Gay Tarot you will find a thread on Temperance started by tarotbear, the image is posted in the thread...you will be quite surprised!

Wow, I had no idea. What a great card! So, I guess that it wasn't too far-fetched for me to suggest this. :)

I had no idea either! I would have been very suprised if I had the Gay tarot and had pulled the card because unfortunately I don't have the skills to became a cook.
The healer sounds good to me but not as a doctor but rather a therapist or psychologist as I am more interested in the mind then the body.
Thanks everyone for the input. :)

You don't need to be limited by your present skills. :)
Perhaps you need to pull some more cards? The tarot ought to serve as a wonderful brainstorming tool to help give you ideas that might interest you.
