Three reversed VII's in a reading

Would you say this is a sign that one should not go ahead with a plan posed in the question? The VII's all seem to have a theme of reward or victory, and to have three of them reversed in a CC gave me that thought. Since, however, I'm not experienced with the associations between cards of the same number yet (beyond a brief and very simple-minded knowledge of the Qabalah) I thought I'd give it a double check. Plus, I'd like to give more study to the meaning of the cards' numbers. For the curious, the VII's in question were Pents, Wands, and The Chariot.

Hi Milamber, There are plenty of threads on this site regarding reading reversals, so I won't rehash the obvious. Sometimes I look at reversed cards in a more non-traditional way, and this might help - especially with the sevens and the Chariot. Consider the tops of the cards pointing toward you as an "internalization" of whatever process the card represents. (An upright card in this system, with the top of the card pointing away from you, might represent an "externalization" of the process.) So ... 7 of Earth and 7 of Fire (if you associate Wands with Fire) pointing toward you, might mean that you need to spend more time considering the effects of breaking new ground and bolster up your courage a couple more notches before you begin. All work that needs to be done internally. The reversed Chariot can mean a whole lot of things using traditional reversals, but using the internalization/externalization approach - you might want to really take personal stock of who you are and where you want to go. Climb inside yourself, check your engine, your tire pressure, your oil, make sure your steering mechanism is accurate, and make sure you have the most up to date road maps. It doesn't mean you don't have a good plan ... it might mean that you need to run a few fire drills and have some Plan Bs in the works. Just my two cents. Mnem
