I wasn't sure where to post this.
I've been trying to find the best way to ask a question about a court hearing tomorrow. I thought perhaps someone might be able to see it more clearly than me.
A little background - I've been battling in court for child support for about 18 months. Every ruling that has been made ;my ex disputes.
Tomorrow I have to appear (yet again) because he/his attorney filed a Motion for Reconsideration. A ruling was made in January and the judge has since retired. They would like the new judge to overturn the previous ruling.
I want to ask if the ruling will be overturned - but I don't want it to be a yes/no question. I think a bigger spread would give me more insight into the energy around the ruling.
Any takers ? Thank you :)

While I understand your desire to know ahead of time what the judge's ruling will be, I'm not sure tarot can give you that. What it can do is help you walk in there with a better sense of having the perspective you need to deal with whatever does come.
I would probably throw a simple three card spread: Situation - Advice - Outcome. You can clarify cards if you wish, but keep it simple. If a court card comes up, ask yourself, "What would the Queen of Swords do?" (for example). The outcome, even if a seemingly "negative" card, can be pointing out that it has been rough and the tough times may not be over, but it doesn't mean, necessarily, that the ruling will be against you.
In any case, I'm thinking your question may be along the lines of, "What do I need to be aware of in order to effect the most positive outcome for myself and my child at this hearing?"
I wish you the best. Having dealt with courts and ex's and child custody/support issues myself, my heart goes out to you.

I agree with MercyMe. Shuffle and ask the cards,
what do you want to show me to be aware of..?
And let it be about anything, just from the heart.

Totally agree with what's been said, but I would add that it might be worth choosing a card face-up, to represent the best possible outcome for you AND your ex, then holding that image in your mind as you go to court.
It sounds like a tough situation - good luck and all the best xx

Hi Mercy, Fulgour, and Leo ,
Thank you for helping me. After much thought I decided not to do a reading before court - I knew it would only make me more nervous.
However, your replies have given me great insight as to the phrasing of questions. I was thinking to 'one-sided' with my question.
I finally just asked the Universe for the best possible outcome for everyone involved - then crossed my fingers :).
Thank you for your good thoughts & well wishes , that really meant alot.
Things turned out well. The Judge made a very fair ruling .
Love & Blessings,
Michelle
