Seven of Wands keeps popping up

Daily draws from my Fey Tarot deck have ended up in a repeat performance from the Seven of Wands four times in the last seven days (twice in a row) no matter how thoroughly I've shuffled the deck. I'm a fairly hermitish person, leading a life that takes me only from work to home and maybe a weekly visit to the book store. I'm worried by the fact that I keep drawing a card warning against conflict.
Can anyone offer any insight? This is the first time that this repeat appearance has happened to me.

Working on the general meaning for the 7 (I don't have the Fey) I would think that this card is not warning of conflict - it is telling you that you may have become a little bit TOO isolated. This card sometimes means that we are battling on alone when there in fact other people around who would be happy to help, if we would only let them.
Maybe you have been feeling a little bit sorry for yourself - feeling that no-one cares for you (this is not a criticism by that way, we all go through these feelings at times) - the card is telling you that there are people who care, but they might not realise anything is wrong.
I think the message here is to open up a little - remember, no man is an island.

7 wands is usuallya face off, you maintaining your position against contrary positions, your passions verses theirs. A feeling of being ganged up on.
7's aren't about conflict per se, but endurance, getting through a tough time, keeping focused and motivated. With the wands, this is a time when your philosophy or spirituality feels under fire. You have to endure and get through this. So let me ask you one last question--since it may not have to do with work, how about on the internet? Any philosophical or religious discussions there? Chat rooms? E-mail?
Just a thought.

I see the seven of wands as external pressures building up...lits of small things building together like a wave...if it comes up in a reading i usually interpretate it as a sign of neglecting the little things in life.... to tackle these little things prevents the wave gathering force... if left unattended the pressure can influence the clients whole energy flow making life in general take a turn for the worst... so to me its saying time to take control for a little while. take hold of the tiller or you couldbe pushed into the rapids my friend

I agree with thirteen that the 7 of wands means holding your ground or remaining strong against adversity. To me it means listening to yourself, holding to your convictions and not being easily swayed by others. I suppose ill-dignified it could mean stubbornly holding your ground and not being open when you need to be.

I'm worried by the fact that I keep drawing a card
warning against conflict. I'm wondering if you also have the book for The Fey Tarot?
If so, read page 117 ~and I think your worries will be over.

I thought I would also add a little here about the seven of wands and it is that:
Even though your back us up against the wall - theres nothing you cant overcome. It sounds to me like someone or someting is challenging you - is their complicated communication or you cannot say something without a return reply being given that you find is hard to accept. Are you trying to be taught something that you find is difficult to comprehend? Changing old methods although there is plenty of encouragement can sometimes seem overwhelming or a battle to shift.
Im not sure which other cards are around the 7 of wands at this time but they may point to the root of the problem. What follows it, what proceeds it, what majors if any are around?

I'm printing all of the replies for my tarot journal. It startled me to realize that everything each one of you suggested applies at this time in my life. I have allowed myself to become too isolated in the past several months. I have felt like my spirituality has been under fire. I have let myself become paralyzed by my fear of all of the complications life's presented.
I would say that I've lost control of things, but I can't honestly say that I ever felt like I had any. I guess the universe is reminding me that I need to take control of my life, stand up for what I believe in, and not let myself get intimidated into isolation by all of life's complications.
Thank you, all of you, for your insight. Now to gather the courage to take those steps.

So if you think about it the 7 of wands showed you what you already know to be true. I just became interested in the tarot about two months ago so I don't know much but I did read somewhere that the Tarot is a "path to what you already know to be true." Good luck! Awareness is curative!
