Astrological aspects of Tarot cards

I hope I choosed the right forum for this discussion. Reading different books, I am kind of confused: in different sources the Majors have different astrological meaning. The Tower, for example. Many authors agree that Mars is it`s planet, but some say - Uranus, and even Jupiter. Some don`t assign any sign at all for this card, others assign or scorpio, or sagittarius, or aquarius. Are there some different systems, or the authors just go with the imagination? Where is the root for Tarot-astrology connection? Who is right? Could anybody be right at all in this matter? Any ideas?
