Hi there, another question regarding positioning. All surround cards for a relationship is good and one position stood out as a question. If someone view someone as the High Priestess in a relationship would this be good? I keep thinking that High Priestess is a holder of secrets. I got this card and also another reader did a separate reading and pulled this card for me and got the same thing in the same position for how someone viewed me in a relationship with him. the reader who read for me said he thought highly of me, but i was confused. SHe also pulled out a clarification card of the empress. but my main question is just the high priestess. how can i view her in this position? Is there anyone who can clear this up for me?
Thanks so much,
Robin

Maybe instead of secrets she's holding, the HP has knowledge to share. People often say that their partner makes them see things in a new way, or think about things differently, or brings out some talent they didn't know they had. Could it be that he sees you as someone he can learn from?
If the other cards are positive, I would generally interpret the High Priestess as a favorable card, especially when combined with the Empress. Two powerful female archetypes there.

The High Priestess is the embodiment of the Moon,
and she is represented variously by dieties such as
Astarte, Ishtar, and Inanna. Do you know the story
of the "date palm warehouse"? That's where all the
pomegranates come in... waiting to be filled by the
new harvest, or brim full afterwards, the warehouse
is always a work in progress: on again, off again...

Sometimes I also have problems with High Priestess, but somewhere I've read key words for major arcana, and HP was there as femini principle (if I wrote it right). Anyway, pomergranates should symbolize fertility. Together with Empress, which key word should be mother, I would say that it's great combination for any kind of relationship.

If someone sees you as the HP, this means that person has respect for you, thinks you are intelligent, cultivate and experienced in life. Also means that person still doesnt know a lot about you and sees you involved in some kind of mistery. Another thing that comes to mind is that he or she finds you are very attractive but a bit cold or distant and hard to reach.
About the Empress, someone who can take care of the others, who enjoys life, beauty and sensuality. Someone protective and with resources to make attractive and pleasing the common stuff.
The combination of both points to different aspects of the feminine. So i guess that person sees you like someone attractive and probably more mature or experienced than he or she is.

Pomegranates represent the Underworld, and so the hidden, the mysterious. In the myth of Hades and Persephone, he gave her a Pomegranate to eat. In doing so she was "trapped" in the Underworld.
