I just bought this deck yesterday, and I simply love it. However, the only card I have an issue with is the Page of Swords. It seems completely negative and repelling. This is sad because I've always considered myself a page of swords. How have you all dealt with the page of swords in the Osho Zen Tarot?

There's no such card as the Page of Swords in the OZT; there isn't even a suit of Swords. Perhaps you're thinking of the Page of Clouds. If you're thinking like you're thinking because you insist on identifying the Clouds with the Swords and yourself with the Page of Swords maybe you do have a bit of the Page of Clouds in you. If you insist on being a Cloud work on being an Ace. Or, better, put aside all your preconceptions and let the deck speak to you with its own voice.

Hi FaerieStorm,
I found my way here.
I actually quite like this card. To me, it shows a mind that is switched on all of the time. But, sometimes, that mind is overworked and is trying to process too much information. It shows an incredible amount of activity. I doubt that this mind would easily be able to meditate but that might be exactly what the mind needs. The head is full of gadgetry and, it has bound itsElf so tightly with boards, they are not giving themsElves an opportunity to breathe.
When I draw this card, my advice is always to take a look at how you might be processing information. Are you analysing simply for the sake of it? Take time out and remember that the mind should not control us.....we should control the mind.
Just this week, I was sent an email that went something like this:
Breaking the Hold of 'Thought'
The basic error that we all make is the assumption that we are inseparable from our thoughts.
Our thoughts are, in fact, NOT us.
We have a Master-Slave relationship in which Thought is our Master who is continuously subjecting us to its whims and fancies.
Human dissatisfaction, agony and stress exist because we lie completely entangled in the web of 'Thought'.
The moment we learn to see Thought for what it is - as our puppeteer - and ourselves as puppets, we start unshackling the hold that 'Thought' has upon us and start experiencing enormous joy.
Can we unshackle ourselves from this stranglehold? How do we do it? What do we experience as we begin breaking these chains?
It kind of reminds me of that Mind card.
Why do you link yoursElf with the Page of Swords? If you can tell me that, I might be able to help you work out how the Page of Clouds fits into your life.
with love
