Hello... I was wondering, and was hoping to get your opinions on this. The ace of wands represents beginnings. From what I read it can also represent passion, and sexual energy. Now since some people in my school know I do tarot I get asked sometimes to do readings. Most are relationship but it's good practice so I don't mind. I did a celtic cross for my friend Stacy once for a relationship reading she wanted. The sixth position was the 4 of cups, and the outcome was ace of wands. Now I was thinking that one or both would get bored, and there would be a new beginning when the relationship broke. However I drew two clarification for the ace of wands, and got 10 of cups, and 10 of pentacles. Could it be possible that this combination means a proposal in marriage or perhaps a birth of a baby which will bring them happiness? Don't the 10 of pentacles, and cups represent domestic life as well? Or could it just mean that the passion would be restored? Thank you for reading.

First question (ALWAYS!) which deck are you using, and yes, it makes some difference. Ace of Wands can be passion, especially with the Robin Wood deck! but it is also a new determination to follow through on something. Maybe (if they get 4 of cups bored) they break it off and she gets a NEW relationship that she is DETERMINED to make work. 10 of Cups and 10 of pentacles are things coming to fruiction, so in whatever relationship, if she is willing to stick to it, happy endings result.
I don't neccessarily see pregnancy. I would see that perhaps as Ace of Cups, and or 10 of Pentacles (familiy time) but I think this is too new a relationship for that. BUT one thought: the Ace of Wands could indicate that she has decided that she WILL sleep with that guy next time or the next one that comes along, and of course that can result in pregancy!
Anyway, I don't see it automatically, but if at the time of the reading, you felt it was there, well it probably was...

I agree with Ace on this one: the Ace of Wands would generally not suggest pregnancy--however, if the pregancy was unplanned, or was conceived during a one-night-stand or the "heat of passion," then it might allude to the possiblity of pregnancy. The Ace of Cups or Pentacles would suggest something more planned or happily conceived. Of course (I know this statement is run into the ground a lot--but it's true), the surrounding cards might give deeper insight.
The presence of the 4 of Cups might suggest that--if it is indeed a pregnancy--that it might help the boring relationship, or cause more problems.
(I'm just going on train-of-thought here.)

Reading your comment, FaerieStorm, I had a flash: Ace of Wands can mean a new opportunity for growth, or it this case to GROW something. If you can, tell your friends to watch what they are doing. They could start something through carelessness.

While 10 of cups implies family I thought pregnancy would also feature something like the empress, page of wands.. something like that? maybe an ace of cups too..

I just wanted to note that one day I had a very very vivid dream of a flaming ace of wands and kept getting visions of it for a few days after. I was puzzled by it and recorded it and then forgot about it. A little over a month later I found out I was pregnant. The day I had the dream is the day I am fairly sure I conceived even according to the estimates of the babies age by the ultrasound measurements. So yeah I would totally equate this card with a spark of life and some potent sexual energy! While I was consciously clueless I think my body knew exactly what was going on and picked this card to inform me about it. I wouldn't use it to predict pregnancy alone though but it is a good start if supported by other cards, maybe a 4 or 10 of pents or Empress, probably different depending on the situation.

I think pregnancy is a possibility. The Ace of Wands came up when I was first pregnant with my son too. My relationship with his dad started out completely based on sex, AND I conceived at the end of May towards the very beginning of June - summer.
The 4 of cups can also be seen as a fear of change can it not? So it may still be completely related if you want to look at the possibility of pregnancy, especially if the baby is a surprise. That it shows up in the 6th position may imply that she could suspect she's pregnant but it's not confirmed yet? Using more traditional decks the figure on the card has a floating cup suspended over his head. In this sense you could recall the ace of cups in that it's a single cup (like the cup over his head) and that's a pregnancy card in itself. I think the fact that it was the Ace of Wands that popped up and not an ace from one of the other suits is significant too. Maybe a relationship that was heavy on the physical side that might lead to pregnancy...as relationships of that nature often do . If it were Ace of Cups or Pentacles, they would more likely have been aiming to have this kid. The 10 of Cups coupled with pentacles are major family cards..this says possible marriage to me..if not living together at least..but only as a result of a potential pregnancy... say..shotgun wedding? lol :D
