When i read for others i have i hard time picking out words to describe the situation. I understand it in my mind but when i have to say it out its hard to explain. Is there a solution for that or is it just me.

Interesting case. I have the same problem with speeches. I can't speak in front of a bunch of people for some people. Are you embarrassed to talk to the other person? Maybe you should just practice where when a card shows in a position, you're so used to it, that you can't mess up?
I tried.

I know exactly what you mean.
Maybe it's because the symbolism and imagery in the cards, and their positions in the spread, have all clicked pretty quickly in your mind but you can't think of how to explain that to someone without getting too wordy on the subject?
I don't know, but the feeling is a very familiar one. For me, the problem is mostly because the people I'm reading for usually don't understand how all the cards and symbols and everything fit together. That throws me off, for some reason. I can sense if they're not getting it, and that can make an explanation difficult.

ahh.. okay. when you read for yourself, pretend you're reading for someone else and say it outloud. You may feel as though you were talking to yourself and would feel weird but I bet it helps.

I've had similar experiences every other day most of my life, and especially with tarot readings for others. I find it helps to give basic information on each card as you go, and I mean VERY basic (to start) then when all the cards are down and they start to really make sense tell the story, use metaphores, even if they sound outrageous to you. Someone may not be able to understand how the cards relate but they will understand a "bedtime story". Growing up a PK (pastor's kid) we were taught that Christ spoke in parables which are "earthly stories with heavenly meanings". By telling simple stories he was able to confer wisdom that was beyond human understanding.
um... does that help, maybe?

Practice will help. Don't let it bother you. Slow down and just describe what you see as best you can. they will get it, really they do! Also, just slow down and wait for the words. You might be trying too hard to get a reading for them.

The words come when they come. Slow down and relax and don't try to force it. Maybe you could do some storytelling exrcises with the cards draw a few and create a stroy relating them all together and see if that helps the words flow at all.
