I can never undersand how to interpret reversals in advice positions. A lot of the time are negative things... so when they are in positions such as what you should do or how you should change what you hsould learn. doesnt that mean change negitivly. Espessially when you have a major arcana reversed in an advice position

Depends on how you read reversals. I don't always use them. Sometimes I do. If I sense they will not be helpful to me in a particular reading I don't.
But the way I read reversals does not make them negative. For me a reversal just means that the same energy is there is as in the upright card, but something is blocking it from manifesting itself. It will happen (unless something changes), but there will be a delay.
Or in an "advice" position, the card is giving you the advice you need to succeed, but telling you you are not yet ready or able (in the right mind frame) to follow it. That you need to take steps to remove whatever in your attitude is blocking you, to get to the point where you are ready. And THEN follow the advice.
Now that could be really good advice sometimes. Like if you got the Sun reversed and you wanted that future, the card not only tells you that it is in your future, but how to make it come sooner. If it came up reversed it would be time to stop and think about what you could possibly be doing to slow things down and how to correct that. I would do more readings on this to ask what I need to change, either if it showed a positive outcome (how to stop blocking it) or a negative one (on how to avoid it)
OR a reversed card could simply tell you what not to do. Which can also be great advice. Guess you have to feel which meaning is right and applies to a given situation. If you are messing yourself up and don't see it (like if it were unconscious), and the card tells you what to stop doing it can improve your life also.
And no Tarot will never tell you to change negatively. It is a tool to help us become our best selves.
hope this helps,:-)

I agree with SunChariot. A reversal indicates a blockage, indicates something you need to come to terms with. You could say that a reversal in the advice position indicates you need to come to terms with the advice you should follow. Deep down you already know the advice, but are denying it for some reason. The reversal is telling you, you need to figure out why you are denying it or pushing it away, then you need to follow it. In a sense it is a two-step advice suggestion.
Here is a good example from one of my own readings:
I asked advice regarding a part-time job I took on for extra money. I greatly enjoyed it in the past, but lately was making me very unhappy.
Advice position: 6 of swords reversed
I was having a horrendous time making a decision and needed to figure out why I was holding on to it so badly even though it made me so miserable. I took it to mean that I should move on from this this job even though it would be a little painful. And also I needed to deal with the fear I had of letting it go.
Sometime later I did another spread for the same situation. Advice was the 6 of swords upright! Meaning that I had come to terms with the fear of letting the job and I was was ready to move on.
Since then I have quit the job and I am so much happier now. My fear of letting go of the job and the extra money it brought was in vain.
Hope this was helpful, let me know if you need another example!

Thanks that was helpful. I guess i consider reversals as totally different card sometimes. Maybe i should read them upright and then view the reversal

Anything I can do to help. :-) Happy to do it. Some people do do that, read reversals as totally different meanings. Most of the books with decks give reversed meanings that are quite different than the ones of the upright cards. It's just one method.
Personally I never cared for that method, for exactly the reason you stated. I prefer my method. If you want reversals in an advice position it could give you something negative. Otherwise, with that method, there is no point to even using reversals of you don't to get negative advice, if you know what I mean.
