Depends on the other cards surrounding him and what your question was. Pages generally represent the beginning of a project or a young person/child. Like a child they symbolise mutual affection, openness and loyalty. This card might be urging you to connect with the youthful, fun loving side of your personality. As Wands represent the fire element, this emphasis is on fiery enthusiasm.
Pages were also messengers, so maybe you have a nice piece of news coming your way.

The Page of wand (adding to psychic sue) is also IMPORTANT news! That is why he is poised to bang the end of his wand against the ground-- to get your attention!

And yet another thought: Can signify the beginning or planning of a trip. The page with his wand is often setting out on a journey. Unlike with the Fool, however, it's a planned journey, a desire to travel, rather than an unexpected move.
Maybe it's time to take a vacation?

...or a very fresh, bright idea will come to you.
One that involves a sense of fun and play.
You seem to need that emotionally and mentally right now.
A new zest for life.
He brings in the excitement of curiosity that somehow combines with an ideal you have held has apart of yourself for a long time.
And he enables you to express this ideal in a fun, youthful way.
I think you're in for some fun this summer!

Interesting that this card is being talked about today. I just did a relationship reading this morning, and the Page of Wands was the outcome card. :)

Page of wands - could indicate the start or birth of something new in your life.In my experiences of pages they don't generally represent children, mostly because I don't have contact with any, but they can also represent this
I also see the pages as messagers, so perhaps you will receive a message of some kind.

Pages are as it has been said messangers and announcers. The wands Pages is a vibrant, energetic personality who has loads of enthusiasim (spelling?) and is fun loving and playful. That it appears in your past to me shows that perhaps you have 'lost' this side of yourself and want/need to 'find' it again? I am not 100% sure without knowing what cards have appeared around it but it could just be a message to let go and have some fun :D

well, since the Page shows up in the PAST position for you, it depends on your question..the page could represent someone in your life; could be a kid or someone who is still in many ways like a child (like maybe they still live with their parents, or haven't quite exactly figured out where they want to end up in terms of career or education although they have an IDEA of what they might like, and are excited to get things going in true Wands fashion) ..or the Page could have been YOU. If that's the case, in my opinion, cuz I'm still learning as I go along, what I have found is that the Page represents being true to myself, putting MY needs first, like the selfish streak that almost all kids have, but yet still not always being able to recognize an opportunity for what it is..there's also the tendency to just JUMP IN without really thinking things through to the end because usually, if you were to try to see this though a small child's eyes, you wouldn't really concern yourself with the details and consequences..leave that stuff to the grown ups..the queen and the king of the suits. The fact that it keeps showing up in the past position over and over might mean that there's a message you've been ignoring? Maybe something you started but didn't finish? Or maybe it's time to reconnect with the little kid in you that used to be so eager to learn and experience and get into the world. I'll bow out here, since I've just rambled on and on..hope that helps you a little ..hard to say since I never knew your question, or whether you read with reversals or not.. I'm a Page when it comes to Tarot myself, so here's to learning together.:D

wands represent passion, and page was messanger. so do you have a passion of some sort you had in the past, maybe a job you loved, or a hobby, anything that could have been a passion to you, this page is telling you, you left it behind, find out what that passion was or is and get back into it, get back involved, of course depending on what other cards you have gotten. i am learning myself, but this is the first signal i got when i read page of wands in the past section. hope i was of some help with my pitty .02 :) hehe

I just had a flash as I was reading your question tonight, so I suggest this:
Swords cut through the crap, pages send out messages. Could it mean there is a question or are questions about your past that you need to ask yourself?
If it keeps coming up, ask the cards why: pull one more card asking what it means, and read the LWB about it, so you can' deny what it is telling you.
