I spent most of the weekend going over ideas for my cards but have'nt commited anything to paper yet. I was thinking of tracing a photo or picture but then also feel it might be better to draw an original one. But i'll have a basic idea by the time the cards arrive, (cant wait) and then let the creative juices flow!

Got the cardz - even though I hardly need them as I have QUITE a pile! But x-tree is always good anyhoo...

Yeah...the cards are what I imagined them to be...difficult.

They do take acrylic, and gesso, and of course, Sharpies.
But even with an acrylic base, I was having trouble with pencil on them.

Harder leads work better than soft.

Anyway...I made one mouse...now I just need to scan it in.

Mousey returns!

He wanted to be back into the post anyway...(Page of Wands tends to be a show-off!)

I used Sharpies and white acrylic.

This is the final card...I hope it's Ok...

My basic design is done. Now for the tracing/transferring part... that does scare me a bit...

I have a bunch of Sharpies somewhere in my studio/workshop/chaos room, but right now, I can only get hold of the black ones and a golden gel pen.

My cards might get more glitz than I planned originally but I have another nifty idea which I will try out on the spare.

Newly inspired, I will start playing "shmousie" (that's "Mutts"-shpeak, JIC anyone is wondering)!!

Bad news that the soft pencils don't do too well - I wanted to use my FAVE "Col-Erase" pencils but they are of course VERY soft.

BTW: ANYTHING that has an ORIGINAL "cirom" in it will automatically be fabbo-rino, but natch!
