Platonic Solids in the Thoth Tarot

I see a CUBE in the Prince of Discs and the Hermit carries an OCTAHEDREN, to add to your list. The cube makes sense with the Prince of Disks being Earth but what about the Hermit (EARTH) carrying an AIR sign?

Perhaps a nod to Gemini, ruled by Mercury as is Virgo? Gemini = the Lovers, and some say the figure in the Lovers is the Hermit.
