My eyes are drawn to the heraldry on display: the shield of St. William of York mounted above the king's portrait.

Wikipedia provides a connection for this historical figure--the Archbishop of York and a relative of King Stephen of England--to the King of Staves: "a sweet smell came from his tomb when it was damaged during a fire. Nor was the body decayed or burnt in the fire."

This passionate leader is very comfortable with the active element of fire. In fact, challenges that would frighten or harm others will bring out the best in him. He can work miracles! (But he should still watch out for poison in his chalice during Mass)
