Cartomancer, upcoming magazine

Has anyone given the first issue of The Cartomancer a whirl? At $20 for 4 issues online, I'm inclined to take the plunge.
Please let those of us who don't have $80 to spare on something that might be worthwhile know what you think of it when you get it.

I think you get 4 for the $20, Rodney.... (Not that I am buying.)

Thanks gregory. I obviously read $20 x 4.

For $20 I could give it a shot.

Will they distribute to Barnes and Noble?

I shall take that challenge. And yes it's $20 for 4 as Gregory pointed out.

Bought a subscription, will report back but at first glance I like it. I am reminded a bit of Witches and Pagans magazine. My favorite article title thus far is "New Uses for Damaged Decks."

I ordered the first one out of curiosity. I got it a few days ago. It's a nice magazine -- lots of reviews by Bonnie Cehovet. It does seem, at least for this issue, there were just a handful of people writing the articles and reviews.

It's an attractive magazine, and I enjoyed reading it. But was it worth the money? Not sure if I will get the next issue.

Hello everyone, I just found this thread on here and am happy to answer your questions about The Cartomancer. It is a quarterly journal (May, August, November and February). We just published the first issue on May 1st. It is 60 pages, full color, and includes artwork, reviews, articles, ads, and editorial columns.

It is available in both print and as a digital version (currently on Issuu.com but that will change as we find a permanent home for it.) The printed version is high quality and meant to be a collectors item.

You should make a pdf version for your online customer.
I order the online version and is disappointed that I cannot download the thing to my computer and had to access it online.
The feeling of ownership is just not there when I had to access it only when I am online.
