Dark Angels-Six of Wands

This rider is not the RWS victorious man but a mature woman who rides quietly forward. Her audience is the skulls, maybe they represent past generations? She seems to be deep in her thought. Maybe she is returning from a battle she won but unlike the RWS warrior she also sees that the other side on victory is loss to someone else. I quite like this noble lady who seems so calm and serene.

She looks pretty serious to me, possibly even contemplating her own death. It's almost reminiscent of Jesus on his way to Jerusalem.

"So I won the battle this time, but was it worth this? There is still the war. Isn´t there another way, with no more victims?"

The scene reminds me of a funeral procession. But since it's the 6 of Wands, I'm thinking it's the funeral of a hero.

the lady rides upright and calm, it doesn't bother her that she leaves death behind her.
