Does anyone have a Rider-Waite-Smith deck published by Waddington Playing Cards Co., Ltd.? Is it from prior to 1972? If so, what can you tell us about quality, the box, back of card, and anything else you can think of?

Thank you. I think I know what you're referring to. I have several blue box Riders also. One, from around 1972, says on the side of the box:Rainbow Aurora said:At last count I have, well more than a few Blue-Box Waddington-Riders,
and I have two copies of the very charming Traveller's Tarot, a mini.
Definitely not. I'm wondering if there were decks published by Waddington's (or for that matter anyone else in England) through the 60s.Rainbow Aurora said:For that, one might say, what's for certain is,
it's not this one...
I've checked my editions, and it's plainy so.Fulgour said:University Books, Inc., was the American source for Tarots based on
the original 1909 card illustrations created by Pamela Colman Smith.
They have a typo in their Little White Book that was copied verbatim
by Rider & Co, London, in 1972 when they re-released their version.
Rider copied University Books. The typo stood until 1975.
