Lemniscate glyph in desription of Magician

Abrac

In de Laurence's "Key to the Tarot," in the description of the Magician, at the end of this sentence, "Above his head is the mysterious sign of the Holy Spirit, the sign of life, like an endless cord, forming the figure 8 in a horizontal position", there's a lemniscate glyph. Would anyone having Waite's Key to the Tarot or an early PKT know if the glyph is original or yet another de Laurence addition? Thanks.

The glyph of the horizontal 8 is there in my 1911 edition of the PKT . So not a de Laurence addition.

Ahh, thanks parsival. It must be original then. All the electronic versions have it edited out. I don't remember seeing it in any recent hard copy versions, but it's been awhile since I looked at one so I might be mistaken.
