Dreaming a Tarot reading.
Last night I had a dream I barely remember about doing a Tarot reading for my younger brother. The only distinct cards I remember The Sun and the Ace of Wands. The deck was wildly colorful; it reminded me of the Sakki-Sakki Tarot, which I don't have, but I definitely have an eye for. I don't remember the subject of the reading, either, but it seemed important. This morning, I texted him and asked him if there was something he needed a reading about, and he said yes, pretty emphatically, and that he would call me after school this afternoon. Since I don't have the Sakki-Sakki, I'm going to use my Buddha Tarot, since it's the most vividly colored deck I have. What do you make of this? What should I prepare for? Why do you think this reading would suggest itself in a dream? |

Well here's an interesting update. I gave my brother his reading yesterday evening. His question was more suited for the Klimt deck than the Buddha, so I figured "hey, that deck's colorful, too," I did the reading, and it was great. No Ace, no Sun, but a lot of great insight into his question. I thought nothing more of it. Much later, around 1:00 AM, I was tossing and turning trying to get to sleep. I realized that I needed to give myself a reading on a long-term, major issue. I felt the Buddha deck was most appropriate for the reading, so I took it out, shuffled it up, and laid out a whole bunch of cards, pausing after each one to think deeply about it. Finally, I came to the last two cards... Pause... I guess the reading in the dream was for me! And I guess I foretold it!!! |
