ANCIENT EGYPTIAN STUDY GROUP - 8 Disks

The seated woman weaves the reed mats that are displayed around her and available for sale to passers-by. Reed symbolizes flexibility. The mats demonstrate application of skills - the ability to take raw materials and turn them into something that benefits the one who creates this new thing.

Through the gap in the wall behind her, we can see a great temple. The gap itself suggests an opening or opportunity. As her back is to the gap, the indication is that the woman is missing or not taking advantage of an opportunity.
