Faeries dream

I can only remember part of this dream but it was so weird/amazing that I wondered if there was any meaning to it.

I recall being in my Grandparents living room sitting at their round wooden table. I know a few people were around me but I cant recall who, I think my mother was there. In real life I see tiny dots/flashes/sparkles I'm never sure what to call these! If I don't look at them they stay in my peripheral vision, but if I look at them they disappear. In the dream I saw a few. Then each time another appeared it was bigger and brighter. Then I almost saw a little creature in one. The next few morphed into a bright faery then back into the dot. The penultimate one was a bright blue faery (female in a dress and possibly deer horns?) with 2 little white ones next to it before dissapearing. Finally a blue dot appeared and slowly turned into a faery who stayed there. It was male, wearing just green trousers, darkish skin, black chin length hair. I realised I had a deck of ' The Faeries Oracle' in my hand. The faery flew up to me and I couldn't work out if he was good/bad because he wasn't the best looking of creatures and had an evil look about him! He landed on the top card and when I looked down I realised it was 'Himself' (although slightly different to the real card).

That's all I can remember. Any ideas?

Dreams fascinate me! and, this one, I think is a dream where you were blessed by a visit of not only your deceased loved ones, (though you didn't really remember seeing them) and also the fairies!

Now, because you do remember vividly seeing "Himself", and you have this fairie oracle, do look him up in the book. you'll note that he "dances open the gate between the worlds, so that the dead may pass beyond". so, he allowed your deceased loved ones, (is your mom deceased? grandparents?) to come and visit with you, at a place that you all recall as being comfortable and peaceful--their table).

Also, read what it says about Himself when he appears to you. it notes he can indciate victory or triumph and power, etc. Seeing him is a great thing! I would say you are very lucky.

I was always drawn to this card in this oracle. i look into his eyes on the card, and he is just so deep, and it feels like he can look right into my soul and know all about me. I also feel very drawn to him. You are very lucky to have seen him and you've received a beautiful gift from him, even though you may not recall all of it right now.

Yes, I agree with the comments from Celticnoodle. This seems to be a message to look further into what this card/fairy means in your life right now. What can you learn from it?

The slow change from peripheral vision growing from dot to larger and larger fairy until finally he's there in front of you suggests a gradual realisation of an esoteric truth perhaps?

Gosh Sagewriter.. you are a lucky duck ? What a fascinating dream. I was unable to use Froud's Fairies but might try to go back to it. Let us know what you find. Sorry I cannot help you.
