The Norse Tarot shows the Norse God Balder as the fool, as this God had been associated for new beginning, innocence and optimism. The Fool walks over in a green beautiful field, his eyes shining with happiness, innocence, frivolity and the belief that nothing would go wrong. This is my interpretation of the fool.
