The Fairy Tale Tarot (Hunt) - Ace of Cups
In a dark room a women lies in bed. She has a red dress and red coverings on her bed. Her pillow is violet, and under it is another green pillow. At her right is a tall window. Outside is the see and a full moon. There are waves on the see. The woman has black hair with a white veil, looking almost like a web. She has a golden bracelet on her left arm, and on her brow is a golden jewel. She has her left hand on her heart, and her right hand on her waist. A golden cup sits at her left, and on the floor is a bowl that is empty. The woman looks perfectly at peace as she gazes lovingly into the eyes of a giant green snake raisig up on the left side of the bed. The snake curles in an S form. It has a golden crown on its head and looks perfectly able to kill the woman, who gazes at it with something like hope in her face. On the wall behind the woman is a mirror reflecting the snake´s head as a man´s face.

The woman is very vulnerable. She looks like she is in danger, yet all you can see in her face is love and hope. It is clear from the picture in the mirror that she is right. It is her beloved husband, not a monster, that stands by her bed. So, in this card I see vulnerability and love and hope rewarded.

Snack taking her skin out... in order of renovation, the same to people, we need some additional infusion of new feelings. This shack is coming here in order to help this woman to recover in her life. Crown of the snack is keeping the Moon. This girl needs some healing. This woman suffered to much from heart pain, she gave all her efforts to the man who is on the picture above her bed and now it is enough for her, strong surge of feeling undermined her health, feeling overwhelmed her, love to this man and had spent her forces. may be she lost him. And now she is completely prostrated. We should remember that Ace of cup is deep but not endless. We should always keep an eye to its level. Do not take too much from it, do not use other's feeling if you are not able to give someone something in back. |

I think this card is about the power of trust. Through her trust, the woman is able to perceive the truth about the snake. We see his true self as a reflection in the mirror, and there truly is no danger. However, if we are blinded by our fears and not able to trust, we cannot begin to see the truth in things. So, for me, this card is about the limitless possibilities of trust, and the power we can gain through relinquishing our fears. Fear does nothing but cloud our minds and cause confusion and mistrust. When we can let go of our fears, we can begin to trust in the goodness of the universe and see things for what they really are, and what they can offer us. The theme of true love in this card is a reminder that the opposite of love is fear. |
