Everyone has had great interpretation/input. I agree that there's the element of illusion, potentially someone who wants to cause pain. But also a sense as if the person doesn't know what they want.... All very valid. Thanks everyone.  GA

Well, if Moon can mean being under the influence of an illusion, so if the 3 of Swords is clarifying it, then the illusion could be that he has the power to make painful or powerful choices.

Maybe he wants to cause lunacy by deception(moon) or heartbreak(3 swords). You'd be suprised what some people will try.If you really arent interested,id show him the door,sooner rather than later.
