Job question - please share your opinion
I asked "Will I find a job in June?" Sun - Clover - Fox - Dog - Stars With the Fox there, I feel hopeful. On the other hand, I'm careful to not dive into wishful thinking. It seems to me a friend may help? The cards are very optimistic, I can't really see a "no" here but what do you think? |

I think the previous time you did a spread for June, it looked good. Why would another spread a few days later indicate otherwise?

Did I do a job spread? I'm sorry... I thought I did a general and that's what I have in my journal. Gosh, I'm getting old. Sorry. I'll go back and look although I'm sure I didn't ask this question but who knows... Ay, ay... I checked - my spread was general on June and I've never asked a straight yes/no regarding job in June before. So, do you think it's yes or is it no?

No worries Ronia, but one thing I've found with the cards (especially from a general reading) is that the cards tend to repeat their news until the events play themselves out. So if you asked about June in an earlier spread, it should indicate (and does indicate) a rather successful June. (I'm refering to the 9 card spread). I'm also quite superstitious and I get nervous when people keep asking for spreads that I think were already covered... Now the new cards that you have picked are: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just going generally, the sun usually represents opportunity and the clover means luck. The Fox means success in things you set out to do , especially when it involves intuition, savoir faire and doing the unexpected (and it could represent a mother -- you in this case if I am not mistaken). The dog means a pleasant surprise and a trustworthy ally, while the stars are some sort of recognition or a favorable proposal *job?*. To me, the old spread looked good financially and entrepreneurially. This one echoes the same thing. The cards are in your favor so to speak. Now in more detail: We have a young woman (potentially a mother) with financial problems who has a massive amount of creativity and artistic talent. She expresses herself well and probably enjoys writing. The woman has gone through a rough cycle, but that cycle has taught her how to be cunning and given her courage to persevere. Despite the hardships she has held her head high and has thrown herself with great abandon on ambitious projects. The cards caution that you should be discrete and not to divulge things until you have a firm offer. Seize the day, but guard it close to your chest until it is official. A new cycle is about to start, full of promise and success, and you should not worry about your social standing or your age... you have more experience and wisdom and that will help you succeed. All the passions and efforts you have put into these projects will pay off, even if you lacked the money to "do it right." Last edited by lord_ewin; 04-06-2010 at 13:04. |

Thanks for such a great interpretation! I would have never thought of all these meanings, so I'm learning as well. The reason why I asked a straight forward question about job was that other readers pulled not very nice cards for me for June. Which raises the question which of these is closer to the truth: our own readings that may be influenced by our emotions/desires, or others' readings? I've been wondering about that for a long time and haven't found the answer yet. I certainly wish June brings me reasons to celebrate (at last!) but I know my strong will may be influencing the cards... So, I'm confused. I'll try to not pull any more except my week readings. ![]() P.S. On the other hand I had glorious predictions done by others for May and it was such an empty month. None of what was predicted happened. I don't know why given I made the usual efforts. Last edited by Ronia; 06-06-2010 at 02:45. |

I'm not sure what to tell you Ronia. I do believe that you can influence your cards to get some false readings... It's one of the reasons why you shouldn't interpret your own cards... but that shouldn't stop you from shuffling them, etc. How do you normally pick your cards? Do you cut with your left or right hand? If you believe in the superstitions, you should only cut the deck with your left hand because you right hand will influence the cards more (for example). Perhaps you should try joining the June Exchange? |

I cut with left hand and I fan them. Then I just follow the urge to pick those who call on me. It's the reason why I rarely use a particular number and only a couple of spreads. Most often I just read their story. I was taught so by Gipsies in my home country only with playing cards. I've been thinking about the exchange threads but frankly, I haven't figured out how it works yet. In addition, I'm not sure I'm good with Lenormand... But I'll check again the rules.
