Lightbulb tip for dream recall....

got a tip from Dr.Oz show today for help in recalling your dreams...
take the vitamin B6...or eating more foods that are rich in B6 would most likely help too...think it's worth a try....

Yup, Vit B6 is well known for how it deepens the dream experience and helps with recall. The soluble ones which dissolve in your mouth and, therefore get straight into your blood stream taken just before bed are supposed to be the best way.

Valerian is good too but can lead to really quite intense 'strong' or scary dreams. Valerian is really good for getting you off to sleep in the first place though.

valerian can cause headache, stomach upset, and morning drowsiness...

B6 rarely has side effects, unless you take more than 200 milligrams daily...
and it's good for yer metabolism...

Yes, like anything else either of the above taken in too high a dose or over prolonged periods will result in side effects. Nothing is absolutely safe.

Vitamin B6 Side Effects

Vitamin B6 is usually safe to take for up to 200 milligrams per day. Intakes of more than this recommended dose can lead to neurological side effects. This is caused by the fact that pyridoxine plays a major role in the nervous function in your body. Occasional cases of chest pain, skin rashes, upset stomach, fatigue, loss of appetite and breathing problems have also been reported.

Also worth considering other medicines you may be taking before taking any suppliment.

Valerian side effects

Although uncommon, allergic reactions to valerian have been reported. Stop taking valerian and seek emergency medical attention if you experience symptoms of a serious allergic reaction including difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives.
Other less serious side effects have been reported occasionally with the long-term use of valerian. Talk to your doctor if you develop:

headache,
excitability,
restlessness or uneasiness,
sleeplessness,
dilated pupils, or
irregular heartbeats or other heart problems.

I took a Vitamin B6 last night and had the most vivid, memorable and intense dream I've had in 2 or 3 years.

I'm a dragonfly dreamer and I endorse this Vitamin, with proper usage

I am also slightly psychologically insane.
