A Viking on the loose...
Hello all, What a wonderful place to have come by all thanks to Hollywoodkat2004 on EBay. I recently bought two decks of Thoth tarot from her – and they are on their way. =) Whether or not I’m a newbie I don’t know since I used tarot cards years ago both for myself and friends. Seven years ago I put my cards to rest and only recently started looking back. I may have forgotten some of the basics but that will get back soon. Just skimming the threads about the Thoth shows that I only have scratched the surface of the deck. It is so much more than I anticipated. I am a 37-year old male living in Odense, Denmark. I have always been the odd ball in my family. My world just looks different and in their view – more sinister. From childhood I saw things others didn’t and when in my twenties I had clients from all continents seeking my advice. It ended up being too much and that is when I put my abilities to rest. I haven’t missed it at any point. And yet the Thoth has started to come up in my thoughts and dreams – and I see the cards in the strangest places. I know it is time to take up the cards again – and to delve into their deepest secrets. I can see I have landed on the right spot and look forward to learn from you – and hopefully give something back in return. =) And I’d like to apologise if my English may be odd at times it is after all not my native language though my surname may indicate so. =) Yardy |

Hi Yardy, Welcome to the forums! I'm sure being here will help you to reconnect with your Thoth's. Your English is very good, I wouldn't worry about that ![]() Have a great time here, I look forward to reading your posts, it sounds like you have some interesting experiences to share with everyone! ![]() Eyebright

Hi Yardy and welcome! Thanks for the great intro, I know that tarot has been more and less important in my life as well, but somehow always there. Thanks
Thank you for the warm welcome. =) It feels really good to have come by Aeclectic in the pursuit of knowledge. Still I have only skimmed some of the threads but that will change soon. These days I have a hard time finding the peace and quiet needed because I'm having my kitchen renovated. Right now it is a ruin - no floor, ceilling or walls, just the shell from which my new kitchen will emerge. (Hopefully!) I drew a card a day or two ago concerning the "connection" between Aeclectic and I and it was Three of Cups - well, hardly surprising but a good sign affirming my gut feeling. |

Hi Yardy! I really can relate to your post! I have had a very similar situation regarding how I found the forum, pure coincidence, as well as tarot starting to appear in my dreams (and I am a total rookie and never have had any connection with tarot before). I wish you all the best, LoveLove |
