4 of cups as a block in CC relationship spread
What do you think it means? Does it mean that the qurent doesn't see the opportunities/gifts being offered and is stuck in their mind...or that the boredom is the biggest obstacle in this relationship..or something else

Aren't they pretty much the same thing? Being bored because of not seeing the good right in front of one's face, not appreciating what you have, thinking the grass is greener elsewhere (but it's not), etc. |

Maybe their fantasy of what they think it should be is blocking what is right in front of them. They have it all, but want more. Some people think that the honeymoon stage of a relationship will last forever, now thinking that the grass is greener somewhere else. |

I think if I saw the 4 of Cups as a block in a relationship, I might read it as having come to that stage where the honeymoon is over and the "real" stuff has begun but that one or another of the couple is rejecting that transition and not recognizing its potential for a long rewarding and satisfying relationship. __________________ Check out the A. I've read this recently as kind of the opposite of grieving the honeymoon period, and actually wanting more than that, wanting something deeper, being fed up with frivolous relationships which were just about fun. I got this from seeing the 3 cups as having a good time, may be with more than one person, more than one option, and getting sick of these types of encounters. I suppose this isn't exactly the opposite, and certainly the person is then again looking elsewhere to fill their cup with a different kind of emotional experience. So the problem might be, in the case of this menaing, be that the relationship needs to get more meaning, building upon something that has been fun to create something deeper and longer lasting which brings about another type/level of emotional experience.
