upside-down tetractys
I'm working out some spreads to go with the deck I'm creating. This is the first-- hopefully I'll wind up with four or five. It's based on the Pythagorean triangular numbers. Looks like bowling pins This one is an upside-down triangle. 1***2***3***4 **5***6***7** ****8***9**** ******10***** Top row: four cards. I read them as: 1. east-- mental 2. south-- spirit 3. west-- emotions 4. north-- physical next row: three cards. I see them as 5. past 6. present 7. future Next row: two cards. They are: 8. strength 9. challenge Last row: one card 10. soul First I read across each row... (Of course, you may see the sets much differently than I do) Going through the cards this way satisfies my sword level mental ordering mind. Then it gets a bit freeforn here and where my intuition kicks in. No holds barred... There are 6 upside-down small triangles to consider. 1***2 2***3 3***4 5***6 6***7 8****9 **5** **6** **7** **8** **9** **10** And 3 rightside-up triangles: **2** **3** **6** 5***6 6***7 8***9 see them as you will (or intuit )Then I look at the center 7 cards as a "cycle" around now. ***2***3*** *5***6***7* ***8***9*** And finally I consider a summation triangle... 1****4 **10** Any feedback is greatly appriciated fly well Raven __________________ ...hey Toto, we ain't in Kansas no more, no more...
