I think all the feedback has been completed now, so I will be printing these off and taking them to work with me tonight to get a summary together.

Cards are posted in the order that the readers posted their readings: Keir Myrkvetr, SA12, MaineGirl117 1. What you want (the ideal): Sun, Queen of Wands, 2 of Pentacles Keri Myrkvetr says you want to break free of being closed off, shine brightly and show yourself as you are to the world. SA12 says you want to go after a big dream and do something bold that will empower you. MaineGirl117 says you are trying to restore harmony to your living situation, but waiting on things to turn themselves around isn't working for you. 2. The seeds you need to sow to get what you want: 10 of Cups, King of Pentacles, 10 of Cups Keir Myrkvetr says that you need to accept your own gifts and emotional state, and accept that you can modify your own reality so that it suits you better. SA12 says practicality is the name of the game, and that you can "man up" and "settle down" without having to "settle". MaineGirl117 says to coddle whatever problems you presently face, be gentle and loving with yourself, and allow yourself to feel your emotional responses towards the issue you face. ***Note from Amanda: As an action, the 10 of Cups has often implied "embracing" something to me and happily valuing circumstances as they are- seeing them being perfect as they are. I found it interesting that these two 10 of Cups cards are surrounding the King of Pentacles here... it kind of highlighted that "embracing" aspect to me. 3. Who or what helps you: 9 of Swords, Wheel of Fortune, King of Swords Keir Myrkvetr says the 9 of Swords is telling you that it might be comforting to tell yourself that things "could be worse" in order to accept what you are facing now and to use whatever negative memories you have to help you remember that the wheel will turn for the better. SA12 says the Wheel of Fortune is putting some luck on your side; circumstances are changing beyond your control and you should be patient because blessings are coming. MaineGirl117 says the King of Swords represents a specific person who is a professional, well-spoken, and someone you are on good terms with- you could get their advice, possibly with a phone call. ***Note from Amanda: I thought it was interesting that Keir Myrkvetr said something about the wheel turning for the better from the 9 of Swords, and then SA12 actually drew the Wheel of Fortune following that. 4. The challenges you face: Tower, 9 of Swords, 8 of Swords Keir Myrkvetr says you need to confront yourself with the parts of you and your past that you no longer want to keep and reconstruct what you want your future to be. SA12 says anxiety, depression, uncertainty, feelings of defeat- whatever setback, heartbreak, or disappointment you've experienced, you need to deal with these feelings so they aren't keeping you up at night. MaineGirl117 says you need to separate yourself from negativity; don't be bound by fear thinking you don't have a way out- there is a resolution you can move towards and she reminds you that the King of Swords can help you with this. 5. What you harvest: 5 of Swords, Page of Wands, Tower Keir Myrkvetr says that you will learn to stand alone even if it's hard. SA12 says the Page may be hinting at a start in a brand new direction, possibly a change of residence or travel; this may have the effect of renewing your confidence and creativity. MaineGirl117 says you'll be liberated from your current situation and fall into a period of recovery, healing and peace once you take the leap of faith required. ***Note from Amanda: I found it interesting that with the Tower, MaineGirl117 referenced healing and peace once a leap of faith is taken- which is a quality that can be associated with the Page of Wands that SA12 drew. So interesting to see it all pulled together, especially with your added comments Amanda! Pretty cool experiment

This was a really interesting experience! I was suprised that the 10 of Cups came up twice in the same spot, and that the 9 of Swords came up in different readings as both what helps me and what challenges me. That was really interesting to me, because that's really something I struggle with - creating doubts/fears for myself, and recognizing when I'm creating doubts/fears for myself.. I tend to go back and forth between the two, depending on the situation. Amanda, your note on the 10 of Cups is also interesting.. "embrace" is actully my "word" for the year, so it's fitting that the 10 of Cups would come up twice to represent that ![]() This was really neat to take part in

That was a really interesting experience for me ! ![]() I love seeing the three readings put together with your comments, Amanda. It really allows us to see a whole picture. I love how the 10 of cups appears twice in the same position and how we interpreted it. Thank for this synthesis, Amanda <3 |
