Can anyone who has successfully bought this show scans of a few cards? All the pictures online so far seem to be from a distance so you can't really see the details. Thanks! __________________ "If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there." |

OMG! i went to order this from yogi impressions and they are charging me $54 just for postage to Australia! O-o that makes the deck $94 dollars I can't justify spending that :/

The one I ordered from Amazon has been shipped and they said it would get here (the US) on May 31 so that is six weeks. Sigh. But as long as it gets here I will be thrilled! |

sacred india tarot
I have meditated on some of the cards and continue to see this as an outstanding book and deck. Has anyone taken a close look at the Wheel card/painting ? It is certainly a beautiful image that includes a lion above the Wheel and a swan below it, with an elephant to the left and a stag to the right. Not sure where all this is going. The deck has such amazing Art that I just go through it to look at it, while open to the Spirit behind it. I find a card a day works well -- "How can I make this a wothwhile day?"or "What can I give and receive this day?" The book is full of Indian mythology and spirituality, conveyed in a universally understandable, applicable way.The deck goes back thousands of years and yet communicates with timeless meaning. I share your enthusiasm for this deck, Frank. I think it would be an excellent deck for meditation, but I have been working intensively with another deck for some months, and I am not sure whether it is a good idea to use two decks in this way at the same time. I am not sure how I would deal with the extra cards. The obvious solution would be to select one version of Death and the World. Ganesha and Babaji could be included in spreads. I usually start off with a three card spread asking what a deck wishes to teach me. I finally got round to working with this deck. It has quite a distinctive voice, and I feel it as very energetic. The Wheel came up in my first introductory spread. Patrick Last edited by Patrick Booker; 08-06-2012 at 00:36. |

Sacred India Tarot
That Wheel card is beautiful and is a great aesthetic/meditative feast -- I like the four animals in it : lion, swan, elephant, stag. I'm trying to match myself now with one of those four. __________________ By the use of images, the wise among soothsayers expressed how divinity is seen-Plotinus |

The swan is connected with Saraswati (High Priestess). That is the one I would choose. There is some fascinating stuff here: http://aryayogi.wordpress.com/ There are notes from Jane Adams as she worked on the images, which are also very interesting. Patrick |

Amazon
I found this deck on Amazon after looking for a Hindu themed deck. It took a lot of searching but there is a seller in NY that goes through Amazon. I got the deck Tuesday and it is everything I thought it would be and more! I love it. I haven't read for anyone yet though. |
