OMG!!!! Just got the package in today! Thanks!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you...I scared everyone in the household today when I went out to check the mail. I screamed, hollered and hooted, stuffing cards from both decks into people's faces and just being very giddy and happy! I was actually awaiting a book in the mail so it was a totaly shock and suprise to get these today'...was NOT EXPECTING IT TODAY!!!! I am so exited I am shaking! Wanted to personaly thank you and everyone who contributed in this...hopefully I will one day be able to contribute back...Also, the robin wood was the second deck I ever got and the Medieval cat tarot was the last one I bought before my collection was destroyed. No idea if it was a coincidence or no...But thank you from the top, bottom and in between of my tarot lovin heart. > <

Congratulations, levannah60. I'm so happy for you! I'm sorry you lost your collection but very glad this helps you to have two good decks toward building a new one. It does seem significant that these are the first and last decks you'd gotten in the first collection, doesn't it? I'm glad this has brightened your life so much and I hope you'll continue to have bright days and bright moments enjoying the decks.

I just want to say it is so wonderful to see A. Nonny Mouse still scurrying around after all this time! Thanks twice over
I meant to post here a few weeks ago when I received a surprise package from a member who sent some of her artwork, a tile painting and a painted prayer stone (and a soap LOL). I'd written about a pair of pigeons I was worried about--and she drew a picture for me of two pigeons that look exactly like the ones I was watching out for! That's our Bhavana Then today, I was so surprised, a package from the Mouse on my doorstep--the last thing in the world I expected, I nearly tripped over it The past few weeks have been a bit trying and I'm greatly cheered!Inside, "Tarot Prediction & Divination," an extremely interesting-looking book. It's got suggestions for using cards for divinatory, therapeutic, and spiritual purposes, all three--I like that. I started browsing right away and have already found a lot of good ideas, including sample spreads and card combinations. I look forward to trying it out A lovely tube of "Dream of Dreams" incense with a stars and moon holder, perfect ![]() The book "Girl Seeks Bliss: Zen and the Art of Modern Life Maintenance" which made me laugh out loud. Dat's me, alright--seeking bliss and trying to maintain. Patience is not my strong point and I can see already this book will help. This one goes on the bedside table. And a loving, supportive note with a prayer/poem by Dorothy Morrison. Ms. Mouse put real thought and care into the package. I appreciate it more than I can say--thank you so much. ![]() Debra Last edited by Debra; 01-04-2012 at 08:28. |

I love coming here and seeing the sense of community that lies in a group of people who have never met irl but think of each other as family. It makes me so happy to see how someone who is so down irl comes here and asks for just warm wishes and well thoughts and is given gifts to brighten their day. It's amazing what people can do for each other...if only the real world would follow suit. |

I've deleted my original post because there's a discussion going on at the link posted in the next post from this one. I've always had a few guidelines for how volunteers can send packages but after adding two more, perhaps in haste, AJ (as you see below) has brought up some concerns so I'll remove them till it's been discussed. __________________ Check out the A. Hi Griz, I started to post a suggestion here and then thought it was fairly off topic to the actual sending and receiving of parcels, so I've opened a new thread http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread...26#post3154626 I hope you will join in the conversation, and take what I've said with the understanding it comes from a place of love and respect for you and your efforts.
