Yes, I'd very much like a change in circumstances - if coming out on top means getting the job I've always wanted - I want that too! The job I'm looking at is a very multi-tasking oriented job, involves water and boats and a silly uniform!

Like Poly said, I'd like to let the good times roll. Be in an environment that fosters a more playful nature.

Interesting seeing this card again in this position. The situation I'm in currently needs to end. I embrace 'The End' here and welcome, with open arms, any changes that mentality brings about.

Hehe... yes, I do think I have some talent as a 'strategist'! I also have contingency plans.. ABC....XYZ. I've also laid the groundwork for this job change. I spent 6 years in college completely devoted to this subject and preparing myself for this job. I then spent 7 years (!!!) looking for a way to get my foot in the door or to find an advantage as leverage to get my application to stand out (influenced by the 2/p perhaps?). After the sacrifice I made last year to take a job, not in my field but within the government, I'm hoping that was the right decision to get that advantage.

Absolutely yes. I do feel I'm at a standstill, sitting on those rocks just waiting Gah!!

I think this is the 'agency' that I'm applying for (Deptartment of Interior: Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, but it could also be the Department of Agriculture) who is (are) taking their sweet *ss time making their decisions. I've got 5 applications in with them (Interior), though I am more hopeful about 1 than the other 4. But this could be the government as a collective - I have 12 applications in with other agencies (USDA & National Marine Fisheries Service)... and they're all SLOW.

A few thoughts here. This job I'm in right now has always been a: "I'm just passing through!" job. There could be something available to me that I'm just not seeing because I keep trudging on. This could mean that I need to do this all on my own. This could also mean in a very optomistic sense that all my struggles and hardships in the past will have been worth it, OR it could be referencing the solid structure of the church - which is interesting since you mention below the Knight of Swords.....

All of these things are applicable in this given situation - even the possibility that something is working behind the scenes that I can't *see*

If there are bumps in the road ahead, I can't see them yet. Good thing I have shocks on the car and expert pot hole avoidance radar after living in the NorthEast for most of my life

Funny, this is my card for this month. I haven't figured it out yet. To be Somewhere Over The Rainbow ?? Home, family, love... they're all wrapped up in this quest I'm on. If I don't find it here, I'll find it elsewhere. My close friends/family are pretty far away at the moment. While I know they're not right here for me, they offer wonderful support from afar.

You know, in the past 6 months this card has shown up in almost all of my career readings. It's interesting to note, that the job I've got my eye on the most is in Tornado Alley country. And yes, I am ready to ride off! Let's hope it is all fast approaching!

I like this. While I'm waiting on the career front, I've spent a lot of time doing some internal investigative work - spiritual work if you will. My perspective has changed over the past 12 months, which is relevant to the HM card and number 12. My Wheel of Fortune year is coming to a close Sunday. I've completed a cycle/transition in my life that has been up and down but I've rolled with the punches and can see cause/affect in many aspects of my life that have led me to this point.

I'll also add, having recently realized how ideal this card can be interpretted as an extremely enlightened individual/Tarot reader, that I had a reading in New Orleans last month by a very talented individual that my family has history with. He has been very accurate over the years with his predictions. What he told me, was that things on the career front will begin to change as of May. Soon indeed! Here's hoping!
