Polyhymnia's Reading/Amanda_04's Cluster - End of April 2012"
The Hope Spread by nodntap. Tarot of the Holy Light ----- no rx 1 ........... 2 .. 5 . 6 .7 .. 3 ........... 4 Wow, 5 majors! Position #1: What are you really hoping for? The World Here I feel that the you want it all. Everything or anything that the sun and moon have to offer you; you would like it please. Sophia does have a strange expression on her face, there is no humour in it. Rather as if she is saying, "Ok, what's next. Is this all?" Things have run their course and it is time to move on and take on the new. At present you are in a great place! You have everything together, total balance. But there is that “want/need/hope” for more. Position #2: What do you need to 'open-up' within yourself to make your hope(s) come true? Death This suggests to me that the you will need to transmute. You will need to release that which you know and start afresh. Although I feel that it is there within you and you are ready, you have been wanting to implement this change for some time now. You just need a push, the impetus, to take the leap. A change of being and thought. This card suggests the ending of one cycle and the transition into a new state. You will need to be honest with your self and recognise that something needs to change in order to make your hope(s) come true. Position #3: What potentials lay within you to make this/these hope(s) come about? The Sun Your potential lies in you following the guidance of your heart, of finding your true nature. Enlightenment we could say. With optimism, this can be a time of positive action and you will have energy in abundance. The sun indicates that this is a time of clear vision. This is such a positive card, it is for you to tap into the energy that the Sun offers, to follow the path that the Sun illuminates and success could be yours. The Sun also indicates consciousness, which suggests to me that that which the sub-conscious knows already, will be brought to the fore, for you to recognise and use in your quest. Position #4: What do you hope is the eventual outcome? 8 of Wands Your hope for the eventual outcome is that it will be a come about swiftly and above all peacefully. You want things to be running smoothly and according to plan. You don't want any conflict or competition and unfortunately this is unrealistic as we need the tests of life, to learn to overcome our difficulties because this propels us forward. Forward to help us in our 'life lessons'. You just want the delays to be over and the good times to roll on. You are aware of your desires and now just want to take the initiative and realise them. Position #5: What is/are the Opposition(s) to what you are hoping for. Strength The opposition will be in your potential to be too forceful. Impatient. Perhaps in not letting your unconscious come to the fore, (relating back to the Death card and the 8 of wands) it is there within you, you just need to recognise it. Opposition could lie in you losing control of the situation or of your inner balance. Therefore you will need to maintain your self control and your patience. Work through each obstacle as it arises, retain your courage and endurance and stay motivated. Keep the goal in your sight line and believe in your strength and ability to achieve that which you seek. Remember that real strength needs to be combined with graciousness and gentleness to become a force. Position #6: What other possible eventuality or eventualities might occur? Page of Swords It may not happen as swiftly as you want (8 of wands). There may possibly be delays and postponements. Perhaps this indicates a necessity for clear thinking and caution. Don't be too hasty, impatient. Position #7: What do you need to do to make your hopes come true? The Fool (What is interesting is that this, the last card, is the first card of the major arcana and the first card of the reading is the last card. Yet this can also be the last card as it depicts our learning experience through life from beginning to end.) You need to believe, to be positive, to be willing and pliable, take the knocks on the way. You need to start again, anew. You need to realise that what is now is the end of the cycle and that it is now time to start on the new one. You are at a cross roads and choices need to be made. This is a new phase for you, risks must be taken, time to shed the old and start again with the new. The message of the Fool is to fear nothing for you are free to go wherever you want to go. ETA; a slightly dark pic of the spread

Here's hoping!!So as to your interpretation - YES, I do want it all! Not in a narcissistic, selfish sort of way, but I would definitely like to see my life come together in some meaningful way that has a purpose beyond just myself. Right now I have a job that pays the bills and provides some sense of accomplishment - I don't *want* for anything in a materialistic fashion, but I do *want* the job that I went to school for. 6 years in college, 7 years job hunting (do you see this adds up to 13?), and I'm now in a position to apply for that job that will also have many growth opportunities, further financial stability which will allow me to buy a home, settle down - all those lovely adult activities ![]() As a personality type, this is also somebody who does a job that's not usually done by their gender (I'll elaborate below) Quote:

This page is Air of Earth, he has trouble bringing his thoughts into reality - or taking his ideas and building them with his hands. In the context of my previous comment above with doing a job that's not typical for a gender (is there even such a thing in this world anymore?) - this job I want is a male dominant profession. It's a physical science (also realm of swords)/aquatics job. No previous college learning has taught me how to drive a boat, fix an engine, learning the basics of electrical work or plumbing or building support structures out of wood (and all the machinery that entails). There's a lot of hands on learning ahead of me if I get this job. Yikes! GREAT! Quote:
Thank you so much for this wonderful reading. I hope my feedback has been helpful ,

I am so happy this reading touched on your "issue". It is always difficult when one does not know the subject matter of the reading. I had a very positive feeling from the cards drawn and now that you have filled in the gaps I can see where it is headed. The World and the Fool stood out to me, as did the 8 of wands and the page of swords, because the cards in the two "pairs" are the same but contradictory/opposing each other. Egging each other on. I did feel that you will get what you hope for. I don't know if it is "the" job you wish for, but which ever it is, you will be really happy about it and it will lead you on into the next "phase", the new learning curve, fulfilling and rewarding. i wish you luck Mainegirl, and hope for you that the dream you strive for, comes to you. Thank you for letting me read for you, I really enjoyed the challenge ![]() Poly |
