Nine of Swords and Tower for feelings ... yikes

I would really appreciate feedback and guidance on this one ...

I have been keeping my distance from someone who has been a terribly upsetting force in my life but who will not leave me alone.

I have recently made it clear to this person after about six months of silence to reiterate once again that they need to stay away from me.

I consulted the cards about this and in the position for their feelings towards me and I got Nine of Swords followed by the Tower and I gotta say, it scares me. It made me think they are worrying or feeling distressed and with the Tower I'm scared they will act on it.

Any thoughts or feedback on the meaning of this would be appreciated.

They need a 'wake-up' call... time to consult your local police department on the steps to file a harassment complaint against them.

I empathize with your situation. I have been here before and have been followed home at early hours in the morning (I work nights sometimes) by the guy. It was a very touchy situation.

What I finally had to make clear, was that my safety was more important than anything, and that I would go to any measures necessary to ensure that I felt protected. That included filing an order of protection/harassment complaint.

I would say, that pulled the *wool* from his eyes and made him realize how serious this issue and his behavior was.

Be careful. Distribute his contact information to close friends/family (email, phone number, address) and let him know that other people have it. A picture too, if you have one.

Thanks.. it was almost a year ago and I still look in the rearview mirror when driving home, but I have yet to *sense* him following me since I told him I'd go to the police.

I was also reminded that I did all this communication with him in texts to have a written record. I even sent copies to my best friend to hold on her phone. Her brother is a state police officer (another state) but I knew she'd blow the whistle for me if I couldn't be reached for an extended period of time.

All I can say is, do what you need to do to make YOU feel safe.

Wow ... so do you think that the Tower definitely represents he will try do something?

You asked about his feelings for you, so I would say he feels anxious and worried about you (Nine of Swords)--not that this is an accurate or necessary feeling on his part, but that may be his motivation. What he needs to do (as, for me, trumps are about needing to learn or access their energies in order to move through the situation) is to realize he is barking up the wrong tree and may be about to come to a major realization about this.

So, as MaineGirl117 said, if he hasn't "gotten it" from your most recent talk about it, it may be time for you to get the law involved--or take some other clear and unmistakeable action--so that he will understand in no uncertain terms that you mean what you have said...and that may be what will finally make him understand the situation from your point of view.

Thanks starry ... ok so the Tower in this instance is more likely to relate to what needs to happen rather than what will inevitably happen?

I'm much more comfortable with the former meaning than the latter

That's just what struck me here (no pun intended.) But as I always say...this is how I might read these cards if I had drawn them for you--but I didn't, you did. Your intuition and relationship with your deck might lead you slightly differently and maybe more "accurately." (i.e. I may have drawn different cards to come up with the interpretation you came up with.)

I would much rather have a situation where I can control dictate the 'dose of reality' than this person being the cause of an unexpected event that will be upsetting!
