Blogging/YouTube rules?
Can anyone answer the important question regarding copyright infringment? If you are blogging or want to do a You Tube video say a review or something and you upload a picture of a tarot card to discuss are you infringing on the artists copyrights? Or is this considered fair use? Regards, Patty __________________ When the soft silver drips shimmering over the garden nights. |

I'd say that's fine. Infringement of copyright would be if you took pictures of the whole deck and used them on your site or blog without asking permission. __________________ 'Be excellent to each other' - Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Somewhere along the line you should say; 'These images are from the such & such deck, published by thus & so.' __________________ I don't lead the parade - I AM THE PARADE! This is not rocket surgery, ya know! Bury the past - and move on to a new tomorrow. |

according to Ric, Lo Scarabeo says no more than 6 cards. Beyond that permission has to be asked for and often paid for. |

I recently emailed lo scarabeo and asked them in regards to my website. The person who emailed me back said no more than one image and underneath it must read 'all rights reserved Lo Scarabeo'. I understand why they do it, but I do wish I could disply a few more images __________________ "Music is well said to be the speech of Angels" Thomas Carlyle |
