I have had a good day - it rained though so instead of gardening, I played on Box moving files around.

And I did laundry. And cleaned out my poor dead van. It mildewed. It is headed for the junk yard anyway, but still. Breaks my heart. My late hubby and I bought that van and we all went to Disneyland in it. That was August of 2000. He died that December. My mom paid it off for me. I had already called the finance company to give it back (self-initiated repo?) and since I had been making 2.5 times the monthly payment, they told me that I had 6 months to figure out what to do. My mom ended up bringing down a cashier's check and she paid it off for me. There was no estate / no money after he died. Just bills.

But he had no regrets, so don't let that bring anybody down. Good man.

Did you work today? Summer hours this year??

WOW! Y'all have WAY better memories than I do. I think Emmsma asked this morning and it hadn't even crossed my mind They won't start until after Memorial Day, and I'll be a BIG MYSTERY for a week or so before that. The Queen Yabbie will probably know, and thusly her Minion of Yabbies, and the misfits won't know...and won't CARE about not knowing...LOL

I got an email for the Spring Meeting at work. It dawned at me that I have to go to those now. I no longer have the built in excuse of "It is afternoon, and we don't want my hours to go over do we?"

*sigh* But it will be worth it. And fun. Because they will make a fuss over me and the new faculty and how we are working so hard. (which we are, btw).

I don't have any Yabbie problems. Thank goodness. I work in an office all by myself. No body in my space makes a huge difference.

One of the adjunct faculty wouldn't go away, so I put on very annoying music he'd not like. Worked like a charm.
