Thank you Rachelcat, this is a really encouraging reading coming at the perfect time!

For allowing my art to express my spiritual truth + Cause of the question: I've begun to work abstractly, and I struggle with filling the paintings with meaning, rather than random brushstrokes. Breaking my process down might mean abandoning pure abstraction in favour of keeping an abstract style for recognizable subjects. I've been thinking about doing some abstract-style landscapes which would be a new departure.

What I'm receiving in my creative life: I've had some new ideas recently – since I've gotten interested in tarot (hasn't been very long), I've been toying with the idea of doing a few pieces based on some of the Major Arcana. I don't usually paint figures, but I've been thinking about how I would depict the Hermit, the Empress, the High Priestess and the Devil. And of course the World! I'd like to see them interacting, on the same canvass.

What I'm doing: bang on! This week I've been trying out some new techniques that I've been reading about. As for the outcome, we'll see how it goes. Some recognition for all the hard work would be nice!

Your last words of advice (11-Justice-Aventurine) might indicate that I need to get more involved with other local artists & associations to get feedback to grow more.

I'll have to look into these Arcana Stones, they seem very intriguing. Thanks again!

Oh these arcana stones are BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm going to consider getting a set--perhaps it could be my Mothers Day gift from the hubby.

Sorry I'm late. A day late and a dollar short again this time. But I'm catching up! Here's your reading!

What can Bluebonnet expect in her love life in the next six months?

, I thought I'd try a new reading method for you! This method was invented by cassandra022 at our tarot society meetup on Saturday. I modified it to use just minor cards, since the stones are majors.

I shuffled the Thoth minors and laid out 9 of them in a rectangle. I then randomly picked 3 stones and dropped them above the center card. I took away the cards that didn't have stone land on them. We end up with:

5-Hierophant-Orange Calcite on 2 of Disks; 16-Tower-Red Jasper on Knight of Cups; 2-Priestess-Moonstone on 6 of Cups

There is someone you are attracted to (Knight of Cups). He seems like a dreamy fairytale prince charming. Even his horse's hooves are heart-shaped. But--he stretches his hand before him holding forth -- the Tower! (The Tower stone landed right on top of/obscuring the cup that the knight holds in the illustration.) So this prince charming might not be so charming after all. He might do something that will upset or disconcert you, or at least upend the ideal you have of him.

You might experience a kind of shock, but you will be able to stay steady and grounded (2 of Disks) with the help of some good advice or a strong sense of morality, what's appropriate, or what is due to yourself (Hierophant).

The outcome of all this will be that you gain a strong inner understanding (Priestess) of what true relationship happiness can be (6 of Cups).

What does SA12 need to know now?

Using the good old houses drop sheet, we get:

14-Temperance-Rose Quartz in the First House
20-Judgment-Petrified Wood in both Third and Fourth Houses (on the line)
21-Onyx-Universe in the Fourth House
Outside the circle, 7-Chariot-Amethyst in the (extended) Ninth House
