Hello from Cleveland!
Greetings all! I'm Marie and I've known about Aeclectic Tarot for some time but I've just taken the time to really dive in. I first purchased the African Tarot and found the symbols on the cards were very basic and my mind just was not able to grasp it, offering little for a beginner. I recently began to experience incidents in my life where insight was needed and I could no longer go on without some guidance. I purchased an introduction to understanding the tarot at a used book sale and it kept calling me. I took the book to work and began to study it. I then purchased the Universal Tarot and put an order in for the Rider-Waite deck. I'm just getting accustomed to shuffling the cards (sometimes they still fly across the table) and I've done a few spreads to get a feel for the cards and it has been going quite well! The few readings I have done have speak clearly to me and I'm getting certain feelings about certain cards. Some cards turn up quite often. I'm very excited about finally taking the initiative to study the mysteries of the tarot and to become a member here. |
