Blue - you need some old fashioned cloches which you set over the plants. You can make them yourself out of cane and thin plastic sheets. Little individual mini-greenhouses, made for the plant they cover.... Bye Yira - hope the - ahem - condition - clears up.... Well, the ground is still too cool for the summer veggie plants-tomatoes, peppers, dill. Okay, I just now, knocked the latest edition of Mother Earth News off the top of my desk, and when I picked it up, it opened to a page where there was a letter and picture of someone "Up North" using their car for a temporary greenhouse. I could do that! My car is parked in the sun at this client, and I can lay a trashbag down to protect the seat!
