4 of wands..

I know reading for yourself is not always the best thing to do, but I did some time ago. And asked about love life, seeing as I am currently single, I wanted to know if I will meet anyone soon. Then 4 of wands kept showing up, usually followed by the king of swords. Even my mum picked some cards for me, and she also got these cards...

So, I was thinking what 4 of wands could mean. I was thinking the king of swords could refer to an actual guy, and the 4 of wands something about him/the situation.
I meet him after I move ( I have been thinking of moving), I meet him in some sort of celebration or gathering, or this guy has kids or something.
Any ideas? Thanks

Is there a possibility that you may be introduced to your future bf through your father or through family?

The 4 of Wands represents harmony and emotional fulfillment but it is tied close to the home. Seeing as it pertains to the home, perhaps you may be introduced to someone through familial ties? The person doing the introduction may be the King of Swords. It can be a family member or family friend... Maybe even a coworker but that's pushing it. This is more of a "personal" tie.

Why do you think reading for yourself is not always the best thing you can do? I'll bet you read it somewhere. The only reason not to read for yourself is because you're so close to the topic we tend to 'skew' the reading because of what we already know. Other than that, feel free! Nothing wrong with it whatsoever...

You're absolutely sure you're getting these 2 cards consistently? OK, of course, in a reading like that, the King of Swords can definitely refer to a person with specific personality traits. I'm not sure where you get the idea of this guy having kids comes from but as far as the 4 of Wands - it's notoriously the 'marriage', or engagement card. Commitment, happiness, births, homes/residences/land, safety & security. So things are lookin' good for you...

In my experience 4/wands represents a new level of commitment and the king of swords represents communication and mastery of emotions. Perhaps it suggests that you need to commit to communicating better with others better in order to meet somebody.

The Four of Wands can also signify the holiday season...or the occasion of a family reunion, a gathering to celebrate some development or accomplishment...of the like. So, it could be pointing to timing in that way.

King of Swards - strong male presence somewhere close to you. He is interested in you, but has another commitment.

Four of Wands - Some romantic evolvement possible, but I could not see the same guy here.

Also in questions regarding feelings I've seen it pointing to friendship and family oriented feelings..like somebody who is a good mate you can a good time with..

What are you doing to meet anyone or develop relationships with people in general? To me 4 Wands is what comes of developing and persuing your interests or goal... it's achievement based on action, hopefully positive actions.

King of Swords is thoughtful action as well, know what you want, what you are looking for.

To me this reading says to get what you want, you have to know what it is you are after... otherwise asking cards to see if you will find or meet someone are wishful thinking. It is very possible the love of your life could show up on your front doorstep, but more than likely you will meet him by getting out there, doing the things you enjoy and rather than love at first sight, but struck by their wit or intelligence or just the way their mind works, that there is something in common, some interest, some driving passion, something that is foundational to both of you.
