I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about the 4th. It's gonna be SO hot and humid all week.

So - brought a dozen boxes downstairs. Eaten lunch. Done some other stuff. After lunch has gone down a bit I'll finish off as far as possible upstairs.

I had hummus and salad, with a couple of small crackers. Very yummy.

I work the 4th, the evening shift 2-10. I've made Jack promise not to light any of his treasure hoard of fireworks til I get home -- like I told him, I have NO INTENTION of interfering with your fun, but as dry as it is, I want to be HERE in case something goes wrong so I can fix it FAST.

Your kidlets don't like fireworks?

Jack adores them...I have to give him a dollar limit of what I can afford, and make sure that limit is a dollar or two under what I"ll really spend because there's ALWAYS one last item he just CANNOT live without and it's just over the amount...LOL

Next year he should have money to buy his own

They like the BIG displays, but personal fireworks are banned here, and that's just FINE with me!

I've never seen any out here. They are VERY small. MUCH smaller than the squirrels. I wonder if the ones I grew up with in colorado are a bigger kind? Or maybe I'm just not remembering correctly...LOL.
