A piece of buckskin also makes a wonderful reading "cloth". You can use pens or acrylic paint to put designs on it and fringe it or not, as you prefer. It would make a great cloth for Medicine Cards or one of the Native American decks. ( Hmmmm, I've given myself an idea---I do use Native American cards sometimes.) There are also small tablecloths. I'm thinking of the round or square ones that would fit nicely on a card table. Some of them can be quite inexpensive, especially if you find one in a thrift shop or at a yard sale. |
