![]() i think i like this 2nd version of the backs better...especially for people that like toread with reversed meanings... Plus it might be better not to have a Chi on the backs...otherwise it could be too confusing when using the deck because then the backs would look like it should be a front image... So here is the one i like best: LynETA: i chose this image because of the warm coloring...i think it blends in nicely with the frame borders on the card fronts...and with the water it was easy to mirror... __________________ You ARE who you are when no one is watching. ??? Ah well, personally, in a deck where the fronts are so rich with colors and forms and meanings, I prefer a simple back, maybe a geometric design or a chi silhouette or the like--just my personal inclination

Sweetie, i thought you were changing the"Aye Chihuahua" name to something with a more Medieval flavor to it. Didn't i read that somewhere early on in the threads? Maybe i misunderstood...If you do change the name, then i would definitely vote for version 2. Hugs and Blessings, MG xxx __________________ Can I come back and see you sometime?" Well, personally I was totally smitten by Version 2! ![]() It is for me an awesome back for the deck reminding well the theme... If I was to buy another Tarot deck I would be nuts to have that kind of back for the cards...It would not interfere with drawing the cards, even though it is a landscape, it is such a peaceful and beautiful sight! Thing is, I love when decks have a beautiful backside for the cards! But that's my taste... ![]() Anyhow, without hesitation, if I may place my vote, it is for version 2 |

The box for the cards
I don't know if you plan on having a "special" box for this deck...but if you do and do not know yet how it could be done....I thought that Version 4 would make great box! |

Well, version 2 is admittedly beautiful. It is my definite favorite of the ones Lyn has offered. i am finding that my >Main< problem is this--i am just not wild about the name "Aye Chihuahua" for this deck, because of the kind of Medieval theme mostly being depicted. Every time i hear i see the Aye Chihuahua name, my mind conjures up a picture of a Chihuahua Mariachi band--complete with sombreros, serapes, guitars and maracas! ![]() i can't help it! i used to live very close to Mexico! ![]() Maybe if the name were changed to something more Medieval, the version 2 backs would work better for my eyes and mind. i know i am asking a lot here...Lyn might have her heart set on that name...but i just had to express my feelings about it... ![]() ETA: IMHO a box is not necessary. i would be very happy with a small organza drawstring bag. Much less of a hassle for our Lyn.

Exactly, and that "theme" seems to be mostly Medieval...That's why i am not fond of the name "Aye Chihuahua Tarot"... With Aye Chihuahua, i can't get passed my image of a Chi Mariachi band!

I agree with you MoonGypsy the name does sound like a Mexican Chihuahua deck ![]() To stay with the Medieval/Renaissance style of the deck a "Renaissance" expression would work perfect....for those of you who go to Renaissance faires you know what I mean, for others here it is: "Oyez! Chihuahua Tarot" "Oyez" was used by town "criers" to call the attention of the people before an announcement "Huzzah! Chihuahua Tarot" "Huzzah" was a way to express how impressed you are with something! These are just ideas/examples...any other Renaissance expressions would work, at least that is what I think
