Lyn, I had forgotten - or maybe you never said - that you were donating ALL the money you get for this deck to rescues. You are really such a great person, all this hard work you have done - it's amazing that you don't care to keep any of it. God knows it is needed so bad. My heart breaks every day for animals. Right now it seems in Philly every time I turn around they are finding dogs tortured and burned to death - it's absolutely horrible, what goes on, and the laws are a bunch of BS - amount to nothing more but a slap on the hand. No surprise when we make football stars out of animal abusers in this country, what kind of example is that??

these little 'love bugs' are taking...every day ... You know, i cannot even watch those
TV commercials when they show all the abused dogs...i cry and close my eyes...it is way too sad to see...
and this is honestly going on...believe me, when i was online searching for public domain images
i came across a lot of animal shelters that had images of horrible abuses done to little dogs...
This was a very difficult project for me to carry on because of all the photos i was seeing!!!
Real photos at real shelters trying to find homes for these precious little loving guys/gals.

It totally breaks my heart...

Oh, i read an article the other day that says that 'black' dogs get overlooked and their euthanized rate is staggering ...

But true her dress is such a gorgeous medieval dress and the falcon is so typical of these days, thus the 9 of Coins is really so much into the Medieval theme and the Lovers are perfect! Fitting so well with both your deck and the Calendar’s theme! I bet the Lovers will end up on the February page celebrating "Valentine's Day"

And yes, like Bhavana said this is a great gesture to give out the profits to help rescue dogs! It always breaks my heart to see how some people treat their dogs...and cats as a matter of fact. I can't stand the abuses done to these innocent, loving souls and I do help ASPCA as much as I can

Khloe is one of them even if she didn't end up in a shelter after being abused. In her case, the litter of puppies was left at the doors of a shelter. She was the only female, all her brothers were quickly adopted and she was left on her own. Well, I knew why! It was because she was meant for me and I needed a bit more time to find her on the Net! I was blessed to get her at 10 weeks old a bit more than 2 years ago and she's been such a blessing to me since then!

yes, it is true about black dogs. Any shelter worker will tell you. I don't quite understand it, because I would not overlook a black dog....
It's like life in general - the beautiful animals get adopted first. That is why when I look, I tend to go for the underdog, the less attractive, or the dog that looks the most needy. But I haven't had to shelter adopt for a long time. Except for Oobi, all of my pets were dumped on me personally. You do get a reputation as the kind of person who takes in the unwanted!

I can't wait till I have more space for more dogs! I really want a greyhound. And a German Shepherd. Little dogs are awesome, but I love big dogs.

(Someone really should do a pitbull tarot.)

This might be a better look for the backs of the cards than anything i did so far...

..in two versions of it...one without the deck name...and one with the deck name in red

...i am not sure yet which one i like best?

Your new backs are very nice and i do like them best![less busy, which i like]--i definitely like the one >without< the name of the deck. Deck names on the back of cards are very much a pet peeve with me.

i couldn't sleep last night, so i haven't been to bed yet...

The reason...is i ended up 're-creating' Campa and Pixel...and both have NEW 'coins suits' colored clothing...

i was so unhappy with Sinduction's Campa and ahclem's Pixel Chi's that i stayed up all night
working on them to improve them. Their original photos were not the easiest to work with..
so this is as good as it is going to get...

Just thought i would post them so you can see the improvement...

...'green' is the color for the 'coins' (or pentacles) suit.

Now i feel MUCH better! : and now i am sleepy and it is 8:45 am...

For the new King and Queen of Coins they rock! Their outfit suits them so perfectly! They are absolutely stunning and I love the "dignified" face of these 2 Chi! They truly look like royalties....

Our mail is being delayed, rather than not arriving at all... But I'm concerned that dishonest people will take advantage of the chaos to steal things that look as though they might have commercial value. By the time anyone bothers to investigate stolen items, the trail could be very cold. I think the mail disruption has to do (at least in part) with traffic jams.

You mention putting cards aside for me (thank you for that). Are you distributing the cards yourself?
