anyone making a crystal healing chart?
I have had it in my head to make myself some sort of easy read chart/table regarding the crystals I am learning about directly and through other sources of information like this forum. However, I get a bit overwhelmed by the idea when I really sit and think about it. The trouble is, each crystal seems to be able to do so much I am not sure what things to put on my chart and I want it to be fairly easy to read and understand. Is anyone else creating/keeping one of these? I don't want to use some I have found out of books, etc, as I want it to be based more on my own experiences and those of my crystal friends

I haven't done this but what comes to mind (to keep it very simple) is to list the crystals down the left side of a paper and then across the top of the paper list the properties you're looking for (you decide how detailed you want this to be)to make columns and then a simple check mark/X in the properties that apply to each crystal. I hope this makes sense. Not fancy but very simple and easy to read. I guess it would be a simple comparison chart. You could also leave a column for any notes/special attributes of the crystal that doesn't fit in the other columns. I hope this can spark some ideas for you : ) |

A friend of mine has done this with herbs. A vertical column for each herb, a horizontal column for the use, and an x in all the corresponding boxes. It turned out to be a nice but bloody huge wall chart. I'm taking notes now and plan to make one like this this winter. It's really a great idea. |

Hi Wildchilde...Looking forward to seeing your chart. I may be guilty sometimes for neglecting my stones but everytime an ailment crops up, i get my crystal bible and search for the right stone to address the disease. One thing i find helpful, i usually search the appendix and find the organ/part of the body that needs healing. Then I look for the recommended stone, and if i dont have it available, i would look for alternatives. Maybe something that you can look into, especially for physical ailments/diseases is to catgeorize it according to parts of the body.. Just my teeny weeny thoughts on this. |
