This is very distressing news :~( We have lost one of the very last true master card-makers! My sincere condolences to Roxanne, family and friends. With deepest sympathy, Adam |

Just saw this thread - my thoughts are with his family and friends. He gave us a true gift, and I'm glad to hear his work will continue. __________________ *Ad Astra* |

This is very sad, I have his full 78 card tarot decks of Jean Noblet and Jean Dodal. These decks' color and printing were of the most superb quality. Jean-Claude Flornoy brought in a new light to the Tarot of Antiquity. His tarot work was flawless and beautiful along with bringing scholarship and history. It is ashame he is no longer with us but the treasures he brought forth will be remembered and cherished forever. A rare jewel like Jean Claude Flornoy can never be reproduced on this earth. A man with such rare knowledge is gone from earth and my mind tears up with what has been lost and cannot be restored. I had corresponded with Roxanne in the past and she was kind. http://newsletter.tarotstudies.org/2...views-flornoy/ |

The site is still up of course, and so is the order page: http://www.tarot-history.com/boutique/index.php?Lang=EN Was there ever an update from Mrs. Roxanne, personally or publicized, of her husband's work continuing? It would be interesting to see how and who, if it does. Not sure if it's too soon... ![]() Anyone have any info? |

Letarot editions
Things proceed here as before. An industrial edition of the Viéville majors should be ready in September. I plan on preparing a re-edition of the complete Noblet this winter. A fine summer to all. |

I look forward to the Vieville majors, very much! I had my Dodal from Madame Flornoy only last month and it is wonderful

I love my Flornoy Dodals (78 and 22), they are my all-time favorite TdMs. Looking forward to the Vieville majors, too! |
