Hello from another Saggitarian in Oregon! I'm quite a ways south of you, south of Eugene by about 20 minutes by car. It's good to see another Sag and another Oregonian. I keep thinking it would be fun to have a get-together of the Oregon readers. We're getting quite a few of them now. Maybe I should work on organizing that.

That would be super fun! I am noticing many Oregonians in here. 20 minutes south of Eugune!! Are you into the mountains there or are you still in the valley? I've been enjoying seeing you and your responses around the forum. You are a funny one, Grizabella.

I'm in the valley but just minutes from the mountains, lakes, streams and rivers. I live just a couple blocks from where the coast fork of the Willamette river runs through town. Do you know where Cottage Grove is? That's where I live. Bohemia mining country, cougars that stroll through town or snack on small pets if they're not watched, bears, raccoons and skunks raiding garbage cans. Yep, that's our town, but I just love it. It's a very creative, friendly, artsy kind of place. Kind of like small town with a smidgen of Oregon Country Fair 365 days a year.

I'll start figuring out how to set up a meeting of Oregon Tarot people next summer. Maybe in the park or even at my house, since I live on a huge double lot in town with great big, dense oak trees shading the back lot where we could have a picnic.

Yes, I know Cottage Grove! You are in fairyland! LOL. If I ever had to move out of the "big city" of Portland I would move there!! It seems like a very special place. Your oak trees sound magical. Thank you for sharing a little bit about yourself. I've been intrigued by you and your profile pic!! Hugs.

Hey, cougar, snake and owl are mine! What a group we are, huh?

OK I'll plan for a gathering of Oregonians (and guests from other places who might care to come) and I'll plan to have it at my house. It's not a huge house but it's big enough to put a few sleeping bodies in sleeping bags around the living room and wherever else and maybe we could even fit in two or three tents while we're at it. I'll make a post in the appropriate sub-forum and we'll see if we get enough interest generated to make it really work out. I've got two of those blow-up queen beds, a sleeping mat that's twin sized and can probably find tables to put outside for eating and whatever. It sounds like great fun.

Oooh! Snake has been coming up for me BIG time this year. Wow, that's so sweet of you to open up your home like that! I'm sure people from outside of Oregon who could make the trek would be happy to join too.
