Me too. But not if it delays my deck

That's adorable! I hope you can get everything straightened out. You know, people here get the itch to find something to complain about. When deck artists hype their work as beyond-belief perfect, it's hard not to You haven't done that. So I hope you don't get trapped into perfectionism--it's an absurd tarot deck, not the Sistine Chapel. With all the right things you've described, very slight irregularities in cutting don't seem like a make-or-break issue to me. |

I am okay to wait. Of course I want it right this breathing minute, but the reality is that I do have a couple of hundred decks that I guess could occupy my time while I wait

Thanks for the pics! They look lovely. But...if the final product if off in any way that doesn't please you, then I would rather wait until all is corrected. Why shouldn't the final product be just the way you envisioned? I don't blame you one bit for wanting it the way you want it. ![]() It's 13 years of effort on your part, so the final product should be just right... Hoping everything goes well... Oh, and I like the two ribbons, especially the black lace one.

I too am willing to wait until you are happy with the finished product. That is very important. We have waited, and we can wait a bit longer. As for the ribbons, I am ok with 1 ribbon, I am ok with 2 ribbons. As long as I can have this beautiful deck in my hands .

Oh, thank you for your patience. I unfortunately have trouble sleeping, I'm so annoyed with my disappearing-reappearing printer. I know it might seem like I'm a bit neurotic about perfection, but I don't think it will be perfect in the end, because that's impossible. If I were to make a metaphor, however, it would be sorta like putting a beautiful picture in a dented frame then hanging it crooked. I would spend way too much time looking at the dent and the crookedness to remember to look at the picture. A simple frame hung straight will do. I don't kneed gold leaf finish and hand-carved roses. |

Almost makes one think they are within reach, doesn't it? ![]() My printer gets back into town today after yet ANOTHER vacation in the middle of my project. I don't have any objection to his vacations: I have an objection to his timing. Gripe, gripe. Thank you all for your patience.
