Two of wands as person
Hi there! What kind of person could be 2 of wands? Someone domineering (Dominion in Thoth deck)? Thanks for your opinions! |

Two of wands. You know those quiet people that don't have to be told how awesome they are, they just know it and treat everyone kindly? That's one sort of person who it'd apply to. Self assured, know their place in the world, people who have a "firm handle" on any situation they run into. Moderately controlling- they aren't quite as "Emperor" like in needing to be control freaks/commanding but still stable and able to be leaders. __________________ One Deck Wonder or bust! +++ Shapeshifter Deck til Beltane +++ |

Great thread. Kosjitov, It's funny, your post on the 2/Wands is how I feel the 3/Wands personality would be. Just curious...is your interpretation of the 3/Wands much different from the 2/Wands? My take on the 2/Wands personality would definitely be self-assured but in a much more aggressive and domineering way because of Mars in Aries. I see this person as a very determined individual who may be impatient and quick-tempered. They will definitely get things going, oversee, direct, accomplish, and have the ego to match! |

Re: Cara
If I had to say the 3 as a person? 3rd wheel, overbearing, unnecessary, unwanted. I usually view it as a need for a separation, breathing room, detachment, new perspective. Thoughts Cara? I don't tend to do readings about people's personality, and I am admittedly rusty. Does this sound like how you'd determine your 2/wands? ^_- __________________ One Deck Wonder or bust! +++ Shapeshifter Deck til Beltane +++ |

2 swords is about thinking, a person who is indecisive, cannot make up his/her mind. For me, in case of 2 of wands, the person struggles to express his/her emotions to her surroundings (friends and family) and they therefore dont take her seriously... it always comes up to me as a person who others dunno what to think about or never know what that person whats cuz she is always hot'n'cold.... __________________ Enlighten yourself... |

Two of Wands is a person who has come into personal power in the particular situation you are reading on. That's why it's called Dominion in Thoth. The person feels more control over the situation, in touch with their power. The number two, for me, denotes balance, and the element of Wands is Fire, so 'balance of Fire'--I usually interpret it as feeling confident and knowing where you stand in a situation, where the balance of power lies within yourself. __________________ One Deck Wonder - Tarot of the Sidhe and Froud Faeries' Oracle - Beltane to Summer Solstice 2013 |

Dominion might indicate the person who owns a successful business and runs it in a manner to ensure that the workers are well cared-for, that they are well paid and have the benefits which will help to keep them happy and productive. Domination might indicate a tyrannical boss who cares little for the employees knowing if one quits, is injured or even dies, it's no big deal as there are a hundred more to take his place. Think of the sweat-shops of the 1800's ... The 2 of Wands as a personality? A person in who is running their own life, they have a lot of confidence in themselves. They may be in control of some business or industry, or maybe just a supervisor in a larger enterprise. But above all else, they are independent ... doing what they want to do (yes, sometimes working for someone else IS what they want) and living their own life. If they have a life partner, it is going to be someone who respects them and goes with them willingly. I don't see a normal, well-adjusted 2 of Wands wanting a partner who is a slave (a'la "domination") to them. There are, of course extremes of this that are possible ... and in the extreme, I recon they could become "domineering", even tyrannical, as opposed to just having "dominion" over their lives. Hope this helps. __________________ "A famous person once said; 'you can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time' ... but, as I (an even more famous person) say; 'if you don't teach them to read, you can fool them whenever you like!'"
